Information Devlog (1/1/2022)


Added in a Character I named Cosmo that will sell players cosmetic Items, and has idle animations that are decided on the MainMenu level being loaded. I plan on him having some voice lines that play randomly or on fiddling with the shop UI. The shop UI is in a basic as can be format and is planned on being changed and morphed around to better accommodate my wants.

Fixed some bugs in TrainGalaga, big one was the Mounted Gun was backwards and forced the VR Player to hold the right controller against the shoulder to aim at the planes. It was an easy fix that I was over-complicating, just scaled the x axis into the negatives and moved the raycast source the same as well. Found a bug while testing this though that showed me the bullet particles were not getting destroyed after an amount of time, which eventually would lag the game out.

In HauntedMesa I was trying to add a map overlay over the controller players screen. But Cameras really don't like the idea of being transparent over each-other. I  have to find a work around for this because having up to 6-players with mini-maps on each screen makes the mini-maps too small to see any valuable information.
